The Vegetation Section seeks to encourage research and foster communication of results in all aspects of vegetation science. The Section sponsors symposia, workshops, and field excursions at ESA Annual Meetings, and facilitates participation in international vegetation science meetings. The Section coordinates activities with the North American section of the International Association of Vegetation Science, including a combined annual business meeting and a semi-annual newsletter.
